Financial Statement Processing
Statement parsing, transaction categorisation and spreadsheet preparation with a clear queue for human review.
THE CHALLENGE
From statements to a reviewable record.
Financial exports arrive in different formats. Sorting every line by hand makes it difficult to see which items are understood and which still need a decision.
Parse supported statement formats, apply explicit description-matching rules and keep unmatched transactions in a review category before producing a structured spreadsheet.

Build status
The Python source includes Flask routes, statement parsers, categorisation rules and Excel output. This browser edition uses synthetic transactions and a CSV download; it does not upload statements or run the original Python parser. Categories support human review and are not tax advice.
The case study describes reviewed implementation work. No measured savings, revenue gains or performance improvements are claimed.HAVE A SIMILAR CHALLENGE?
